Sadly, speaking from experience, pretty good compression is not enough for these autotune models!

Usually this happens when a handle breaks and bends the internal rods.

I believe they are the same, I don't see why they would have changed them.

Sounds like a compression issue to me, did you replace the piston ring?

I have found spraying Carb cleaner anywhere near the intake boot causes the carb to suck in the vapour, you probably have no issues at all with your intake boot.
