    in July of 2021 we identified the first and only (to date) confirmed Balsam Woolly Adelgid infestation in Michigan. Removal took place in December. Debris from the site was collected and immediately buried under our chip pile.

    Any Saw Collectors up Michigan way?

    Just wondering if there are any chainsaw collectors around my neck of the woods. I'm up in Manistee County, MI. I'm starting a collection myself. Mostly 70s Macs. I can't be the only one around here with the Yellow Fever. But if you collect any type and live nearby, gimmie a shout.

    STATE FOREST FIREWOOD PERMIT - MICHIGAN

    Has anyone taken advantage of the $20 permit to cut firewood on "select" state land in Michigan? I read the law and of course there are a ton of limitations. Most annoying is you cant leave an established road with anything other than a "handcart, wheelbarrow, ect" to collect the wood. So no...
