Yeah no doubt about that. I bought the bearings and seals oem from definitive Dave's ebay store and bought a quality aftermarket case gasket... Not that I think it'll matter since I'll be using yamabond on it as well. I have a head gasket on hand luckily, I might even delete it for just a yamabond seal if my squish checks out, I errored on the side of caution last time and used the aftermarket head gasket which gave a ~.32-.35 squish and 165 comp.

I'm thinking joining the case shouldn't be too much of a worry. It'll be my first time doing it, but I have a good shop and an oven for knife making. I made a case splitting tool out of some scrap steel that worked perfect and pulled the bearings out no prob. Hope the reverse goes smoothly.
