Husqvarna 162sp Questions

hey guys,
Working on putting an old husky 162sp back together that I bought in a box.
Curious if anyone has and clue as to how the throttle linkage is set up on this, I have the push rod that comes off the trigger/handle, but am missing the connecting piece better that and the carb..
Perhaps i am able to lockwire it together?

Also, any helpful advice on how to put the fuel filter on the line in the tank? The hose has a grommet on it that limits how far it goes into the tank, and will not let me pull it far enough out to install filter

You are missing a metal rod between throttle shaft and plastic throttle linkage . same as 61,66,266 models To get filter , make a " J " from a coat hanger ,about 8" long and pull the hose with.

metal rod is 5018 143 01 on this picture.
