Husqvarna 346xp with 18” bar for sale. 2002 model. Compression is 150 but does have some scarring on muffler side. See pics. Saw starts and runs great at full throttle, will only idle for 30 seconds to a minute and shutoff. Missing clip to hold air filter on.

The early ones didn't have a clip for the filter, that's the wrong filter. I would not call that "some" scoring. Is this a 42mm OE or 44.3mm NE saw?

This is the OE saw. I just traded this in and it appears to be an original cylinder.

I am also a Husqvarna dealer and can order a stock or upgraded cylinder kit to repair and send with the saw with if interested.

You should look through the spark plug hole at the (exhaust side) cylinder wall and alert potential buyers to the condition of the cylinder- especially if it’s obviously scored

The piston scorring and the scorring on the cylinder are about the same on the exhaust side. No scorring on the intake side. For proper repair it will need a piston and cylinder, but runs as it is and being sold as is
