Redeye cylindercylinder

Hi all at AS,do you think this cylinder is salvageable? It is off an early red eye 066.Damage was caused by broken OEM circlip.Both sides scored near transfers but not all the way across.Can feel it with finger nail.Would it scotch brite out?
Piston is toast.Running Chinaise AM at the moment but would like to fit original cylinder.Just not the same saw with AM fitted but OK.Was also going to fit Caber rings (not F type).

I would just bevel the edges a little bit to be safe not to hang a ring.

Won't be perfect but you should be able to salvage that by blending in the damage spots so as not to hang a ring.

How did you loose OEM clip? Not installed right and/or bent on install?

Saw was all original and not touched.Circip just snapped,found it in about 5 bits in the sump.I think I was just unlucky not usually a problem with OEM clips.

Would it blend OK with wet and dry or do I need a tool?Don't own a dremel but have a die grinder.

If I order Caber rings will other be advertised as F?Can I select non F rings?

All cleaned up.Scores still obvious but no high spots and edges bevelled.
