made one once...

used it twice, cut the jack off and just called it a peavey from then on. kinda pointless

I have something similar. Mine is a Woodchuck dual with log jack attachment. It works really well. I don't use the jack much for cutting. It's quicker to cut, roll and cut. I find the jack very handy for untangling and cutting long logs into more manageable lengths. The jack certainly helps keep the chain out of the dirt which is always a plus.
