Niko, I know the difference, I was just pointing out a figure. It is advertising after all. After decades of dealing with motorcycles and the outlandish claims that the manufactutrers make regarding power and weight I know look to an outside source for that information.

This is probably one of the nicest lineup of chainsaws offered by one manufactuer at one time

Where's the 153 fit in?
In what years was the 153 made or imported to the US market?
Had to go dig out the manuals & brochure.
This brochure only shows models- 105, 108, 112, 114, 117, 119, 123, 133, 153.
What's impressive is the 'Spare Parts List' eight pages of exploded views & eight pages of part numbers. Right at the same size as the 'Instruction Manual'
This saw on 11/9/82 was $607.00 [ I usually write this in the manual] W/full wrap handle bar, chain protection cover, special spike bars? and a 29" roller tip bar. $42.00 of this was for the manual override oiler. In today's money/prices this make the current Pro saws seem like a darn good value. Even though one still has to take it out and count it.

My only Dolmar wall sign, screen printed on heavy plastic stock. Sure would like find a metal Dolmar advertising sign someday!

Thanks for sharing the pix. I remember when one of our local saw shop's was a Sachs Dolmar dealer. I didn't buy a chainsaw from him but did buy a S/D Brushcutter... a BC400 in 1989. It's still going strong today.
