You can't escape yourself
Can anyone post a picture or explain how they modded a spark plug for use in vac/pressure testing? It seems simple enough but have never seen one.

I found a fitting in the air tools section at the hardware store. No muss, no fuss.
I'll try to remember to get specifics when I get home.

I have a couple of modified spark plugs for different sized threads. I just break off the ceramic and poke the rest out of the center, cut off the electrode and drill and thread to suit to your testers fitting...Bob

Here, I found a picture of my homemade adapter.

Like Bob said, knock the center out, tap the hole and screw in the needed fittings.

Well as you can tell by the picture its been almost 3 years since I did that one, and
I dont remember the details, but I remember having trouble with that issue.

I had an intake on a P70 leak and damn if that wasn't a pain to figure out. There was a hair line crack that was giving me grief.

That is even easier. :)

I just assumed I wouldn't be able to find any fitting with that thread.
I'm afraid I mislead you. I didn't get the important part at the hardware store. Sorry.
My compression tester (old Snap-On) has a bunch of different quick-connect fittings to go in the plug hole.
I use one of those, and a female quick-to-barb from the hardware store, to connect my Mity-Vac to the plug hole.
