Isn't there some subtle timing differences as well? I noticed the 650s we had at the logging company for landing saws seemed to make their power at a higher RPM. I have a 650 jug here if you want to check the #s on it.

The 064 and the 066 as you know had some timing differences as well......the 064 in smaller wood is a screamer. I wonder about the 650 in that regard.

O this is getting good it looks like someone
Want to get his hands on the 650 because I notice
The same thing that Jacob J notice that why I like
The powerband over the 660

If it were my saw I would take Randy up on his great offer and add an extra $100 for a nice used 066/660 P&C. Then I know I have an awesome running saw and not one that is only "second best". I'm sure the 650 will make a great runner but it will never be a 660... and with CAD and stuff you always end up wanting something bigger at some stage.

I'd really like to build it with the 85cc top end just to see how much I could get out of it as is. I can't see taking off a good top end.

I hope he sends it to you! I have one in waiting. I was wondering myself how much could be done.
