I made a mistake. I forgot to put the needle bearing in when mounting the piston. That's probably the culprit?

Damn! Yeah that is a culprit.I made a mistake. I forgot to put the needle bearing in when mounting the piston. That's probably the culprit?
If it is in there it's not supposed to be there. I'd take it out.I noticed that there was a vinyl ring/ spacer between the clutch drum and the sprocket. It looks a little worse for where and I can't find any reference to it on any parts diagram or youtube videos which deal with this saw. Should I just leave it?

150 is a decent starting psi. It should go up. If it were me I'd plug the decomp, but if you need the button no shame in leaving it in. Just make sure to seal the threads on whichever thing you thread in.

I have a ms361 and I never use the button on it....nearly flooded the saw the few times I did use it. I do use the button on my ms440 though lol.
Wow, that simple. Thanks! Is there any advantage to plugging a saw?
One less thing to leak.Wow, that simple. Thanks! Is there any advantage to plugging a saw?
^^^This^^^Also, the "sprocket wheel" is supposed to slide back and forth on the internal spline that it's driven by. That's how it aligns the chain with the bar

links bubba...linksOh there is a guy selling like 8 346's in my group site etc. Never seen him here. He has them all broke down selling as parts or whole.
Snap On Tools used to sell the correct valve insert Very difficult to tell from the standard one the correct one it has a blob of WHITE paintDoes anyone have a link to a low pressure Schrader valve? I have a $50 Actron gauge and it's better than the $15 HF one but I still think it reads kinda low. Will see 130 PSI on a real strong runner 272. Would expect 150+.
