Dave mine is different
I've seen a piece of a sock stretched over one of those to replace the missing flocking 
. Maybe you could do the same sort of thing with a green weenie a/f.

I have nothing over which to stretch the sock. The original is missing.
The saw if otherwise pretty nice. It has the original roller-tipped, Remington-rollmarked bar. The decals are intact.
It was given to me when I bought two other saws from my neighbor for $20 each. A Mac 840 and Mono 650.

Dang I'm in the same boat. But I have the filter. Just pretty rough shape. Thanks for the sock idea
