Is this some kind of Mulberry? We are in Southeast WI. It’s sapling bark is yellowish. It’s been persistently growing in the corner of our garden. I have cut it down and pulled it’s roots the last 4 seasons and it just keeps coming back. We’re to the point we just might leave it be 😂. It wins.
