    Exhaust port stick welding ?

    I was thinking about STICK WELDING a west coast saw exhaust port on a MS 461 muffler. Will the exhaust handle the heat from the welding? What do I need to use as equipment? Has anyone done this before ? Cheers!

    Wood splitter beam extension?

    So I have saved up parts for awhile to build a splitter and I have been thinking of getting more serious about doing it. My first problem is that my beam is just a little too short. I want a push plate on the cylinder and wedge on the beam. But my beam is about short the length of the wedge...
