I run a 16 and a 20 on mine. .325/.063 RM chain. 20 bogs it down a little but will get the job done. Great saw.

Yea 16 or 18 will be fine. You will probably notice bogging down with an 18 buried but if u go easy it shoildnt be a problem. A reg 028 is 43cc I believe. And yea .325 for sure.
