I have an OE tank handle not minty and the crank swap is legit. I sent my 288 crank to Tom in VA to use in his build. Saw ended up going to Shaun for a port job. No issues with those.
I also have the 288 cases here for sale now. One case half was welded but outside the crank case compression area only on the flywheel side. The bearings are tight and seals in their pockets.
