4way wedges and tables

First off Merry Christmas all! I have a couple questions on 4 way wedges. What is the guy on eBay that sells them? Are they worth it or I was thinking of using my welding connection to make me one just not sure on the dimensions that I should be Going with meaning height and angle? Any one out there that has made one have any insight good or what you would do different? Another random question is regarding tables I was thinking about my guy making me one but I want it removable and light since I move my splitter around so much would this be a good idea or just make one out of 2x4's ? Simple and easy I would think.

What kind of splitter? Wedge wings I would think should be about 4" off the beam. The guy that sells work tables in eBay makes a good product. If you have a horizontal/vertical model, get two mounting brackets so you can work from either side.
