Can any of you give me the dimensions of your 6 way wedge? I have noticed some have the bottom wings almost straight across and the the top two on a 60, then some look like all the wings are on 60's.. also wondering about the thickness of the wings, most look like 5/8 but not sure, how long is each wing? are they sharpened on a vee or just sharpened on one side? also how high from the bed to the center of the wings? thanks in advance

It will depend on how your beam meets your wedge. If your beam extends beyond your wedge you will need to have the bottom wings horizontal with a single bevel edge sloping up towards the top wings. The top wings in this design would need to be angled up with a single bevel sloping up. You have to design the wedge so you are not pinching the wood as it pushes through the wedge. Ending your beam at the start of the wedge opens up your options.
