Altec WC-612 Chipper: Pros & Cons

I'm considering buying a '98 Altec WC-612 chipper. Can you guys give me the low-down on this model? Are these chippers reliable? Are parts readily available for it? Will it handle 12" logs smoothly? I need to decide fairly soon, so any and all info is greatly appreciated.

Very strong chipper,i had one with the 300cu inch 6 cylinder.If the price is right and its in good shape.They are only 6" chippers with a 12" infeed(same as knives)

12 inch logs smoothly? They won't handle 12 inch logs at all. They are a 6 inch chipper.
