48' Sky Worker. Big knuckle, stinger. 3 stick w/ lower control unit also. It has hydro. hook-up for tools, but I have never used it. Boom is in great shape. I replaced bottom boom cyl.+ insulater.[$6,000.00 invest.] It has approx.400 hrs. since change over. Boom runs off P.T.O. Chip box w/ dump, Outriggers.
Mounted on a '71 C70 Chevy, 350 motor, 4 speed trans.,hi-lo axle. Everything works. motor is weak, but will get from point A to point B., an back. This is not a pretty truck, but will get the job done with ease an safely.

'71 Asplundh Chipper Runs an looks great. 16" throat, new belts, 300 6cyl. new tires.

Info on Truck

Sounds like an old truck. I'm looking for a rig to get back into the trees with. Have been paying others to chip for me. What does the truck look like and condition. Is it ready to work or in need of repair? How much rust? Can you send me a picture of the truck?
