The veggie oil nazi's will be along shortly... 
I have used Stihl biodegradeble bar oil twice and did not notice any difference than the price. We were salvaging logs out of a 2 log jammed streams... we were required to use it since we were cuttin' over the water in Salmon habitat.
Other than it being more expensive... it did the job just fine.
