Blowing off relief valve

is it normal to blow off pressure relief valve in this hot summer?I'm burning for water heat and have noticed twice that the valve has popped.

If you don't have a problem with the water getting too hot and creating too much pressure try replacing the valve.There's the possibility the incoming water pressure can be to high also so you my need to check that also.
