My OWB did that the first week and then it stopped. I think the door sealed itself after a couple heat cycles.

Make sure yours is fit and locking properly, and the seals are on correctly

My Empyre does that when its not calling for heat alot and smoldering for longer periods of time worse with green wood.

My Hardy seems to do this when I burn green wood also. I noticed some leakage the first two days I fired it up, it had been sitting for a few years. Once I got it going seemed to clear up, but does kind of look like yours when burning greener wood...

Get it cleaned up or it will ruin your concrete.
