If you think all contact cleaners are equal in rejuvenating a switch or pot you are wrong. I rebuild old stereo equipment if I can get one of the techs on AudioKarma to give me modern parts list. There is no telling how many good pieces of equipment have been thrown away when a channel dropped out and it was only dirty controls.
Anyhow, the switch wasn't working on my 056 and when checking it showed a resistance of 185K to 250K ohms wandering around. I took some Caig's Deoxit and after spraying and working it a few times the resistance dropped to .3 ohms. You can buy little cans at Radio Shack if whatever you are using doesn't work. It's made for this.
