Hi all,

I'm the proud new owner of an awesome little Echo CS-2511TES in New Zealand and had a couple of things that I was wondering about.

Anyone know what the ES means at the end of the model number? Is it Easy Start or European Spec, or something else?
It seems in the USA your model is just CS-2511T ?

I was reading the tuning procedure from an Echo service information document and noted the following, which I found quite interesting;
5) Confirm H mixture needle position before WOT setting
Turn H mixture needle CCW to confirm engine speed decreses less than 13,000 RPM
6) WOT setting
Turn H mixture needle CW and set engine speed within 12,500 - 12,700 RPM
7) Final WOT setting
Turn H mixture needle CW by : 1/2

Thinking about this, it seems that this final step of 1/2 a turn CW on the H needle is to get past a 13k RPM limited coil?
I.e. they recommend 1/2 a turn in (leaner) on the H from 12,500 - 12,700 RPM

I have a good tach and mine is currently running 12,800 RPM after 3 or 4 tanks from new.
I'm hesitant to run the H another 1/2 a turn in until I fully understood the reasoning behind this and had some feedback from the forum.

The saws we get here have no limiters installed, just the D head screws which I have a screwdriver for.

Cheers
