Hi there,

I've read about muffler modding and would like to know how to do it please.

I've got x2 024's 044 and 064 id do it to at some point but thought i'd start on one of the 024's first! To make sure i did it right!

And help on how to do this would be great!

many thanks Chris :msp_biggrin:

If you enter "muffler modding" in the search function you'll find a ton of information. It's easy to do and you'll like the way your saw runs.

Just a sample of what's in "search"...http://www.arboristsite.com/chainsaw/160815.htm

You can search 026 muffler modding also, they have the same muffler but they are a bit more common. You'll find there were no less than 3 different muffler covers on the 026/024 saws, ranging from really choked up to pretty good.
