forced draft blowers for boilers

Good Morning fellow board members,


As I have improved my boiler by filliing it half full of fire brick I continue my
research and tinkering.


I am looking for the manaufacturer of the squirrel cage blower that is supplied for the evergreen line of wood and coal boilers as it has a solenoid that opens the intake and shuts down the intake when the high temps are reached.

they(evergreen) have the blower mounted on its side with the solenoid liftting the air door plate and closing with gravity-unsure if its something that evergreen did or its offered that way etc.

I looked at the grainger catalog this morning and have yet to examine the McMaster Carr Catalog.

I am not sure about evergreen but it sounds like what i have on my woodmaster, they have them in the online store if you go to woodmaster website. here is the link, hope this will help.
