I just had a class yesterday which I thought I would share with you guys. Name of the class is "small tree care business" AKA Forrestry 305. The "professor" is none other than Mark Tobin. He is going to be teaching the class for a while as far as he knows, and may become a professor / assistant professor in a couple of years. The class is 4 hrs 1x per week. 1/3 is centered on trees, 1/3 is based on business, the last 1/3 is based on people. Yesterday we actually went out for about an hour and a half and just looked at trees for business reasons. We will be having a couple of guest speakers, and will be learning about tree apraisal from a real big wig in that field (forget his name) The book that we are using for the class is something I think you all should check into. 80 pages long, I got the first 30 read through in about 40 minutes.
