This is a first time experience for me.
Renton, Wa had some 3/8" dia hail today, very unusual, biggest I've seen here in 40 years, never have personally seen larger except in Midwest (IL , MO, and TX).
All the D Fir this time of year is in new growth light green tips, driveway and yard is totally covered with the tips from 1 to 100 year growth trees.
Anyone seen this before, and what does it say about future growth (I won't have to prune the Christmas tree stand as much probably?)
Hail even took down to ground level the tops of some big leaf maple starts that were about 6 ft high.
