OK Groundies, tell me about your favorite Hard Hat!
I have been using a Western Safety Hard Hat with ear muffs. Its not bad at all, but somewhat a PITA on the humid/hot days. The frontal fabric mesh on the suspension was nice, and stayed relatively cool, I definitely prefer that over Huskys plasticy stuff... however longevity wise the mesh only lasted me a season. The suspension is a bit cheapy, and managed to deform a bit when left in the sun in the truck, but you cant feel it when wearing it. Muffs look cheap, but they work well, and stay put. My only other grievance, aside from the mesh, is that the helmet just doesn't stay put that well when looking up. It has a ratcheting rear strap but with the weight of the muffs slides off in the most inconvenient times.
