I'm a bit torn as to sell or not to sell my 394xp.
It's in good condition, all oem parts and runs good.
I have someone willing to buy it at 900$ CAD.
It has the full wrap
Here are some pics:

I put it up for sale because I am in need of the money and I don't use it that much (maybe a handful of times per year).
My stable consists of:
Stihl Ms461 ported
Stihl Ms 400

Husky 372XP ported

McCulloch 10-10
McCulloch pro mac 55

I do mostly land clearing and forest thing in the summer for some extra cash.

If I sell it, I am planning to buy a 660 or 066 down the road when things get better

Will I regret it selling it? What do you guys think

I'm having the same debate. I don't use it except for on the mill, and I haven't had the time to mill. Used my 390xp for felling. Only thing that sucks is the cost to replace it if I ever want to get back to milling.
Cylinders are getting hard to find, but (like mine) its not hard to convert over to a 395 cylinder.
Kinda doubt you'll regret getting rid of it. The 660 is a better felling saw imo.

yeah, parts are becoming tricky

Ive had to make some painful choices with sales in the past ,but thats what being an adult is about . If the sacrifice suits the situation, its time to trim the fat. It sucks and no one can understand or want to hear about your regrets ( except us on the chainsaw forum) but if your making future plans sometimes the things that get you there are left in the past.

@Stihl dude I agree with some of the guys here that you’ve gotta do what you’ve gotta do. If you need the money, then you need to make a sacrifice. There are many ways to do that. If the 394XP is that sacrifice, then do it and have no regrets. If that’s “the one” and you don’t want to part with it, then here’s a compromise. Choose two or three of the other saws and sell them. Pick a Mac, a Stihl, and a Husky, or any combination you want to. As much as we love these things, it’s just stuff. You can replace any of them later on in life with something else.

Don't do it man cut some firewood with it and sell that instead:)

Love my 395. I'd like to low top it but everyone says don't
You don't, they suck. I need to suck it up and get a high top cover for mine and finsih the swap from low top. The low top is more of a screen then filter, all kinds of fines get past it.

Amen!

I never sell anything I bought a 298 30 years ago for around 250 . Still runs good I have a 394 in great condition. The one about selling you get the money and spend it. Now everthing is gone. What I look for who will take care of it?

Who cares? Once it's gone it's not your problem anymore. If need money you better bet I'll sell off whatever I have to, to make ends meet. Couldn't care less if they want to use it for target practice or a boat anchor.
