Hello I live in Northern California and I have a beautiful pine tree in my backyard and it s dying, Any suggestions on what I can do to possibly save it would be greatly Appreciated, email me at [email protected] for pics if I am unable to post here which I will be trying next. Thanks in Advance.

If you have been in drought conditions or your tree has been stressed or is very old, odds are it's pine beetles. If so, the news is not good and there is not a whole lot you can do. I hear that California is having some serious infestations right now. Nearby trees may also be in jeopardy.

A description of the issue would help.Could be anything from beetles, root rot, pitch canker.Pc is a major issue on this coast on a variety of pines. If you know the species ,google problems of that tree,or problems of pines in general...assuming it is a pine and not another species of conifer.
