I would like to replicate this southern driveway of Live Oak with Spanish Moss in South Middle Tennessee. I have read that they need to be spaced 100' apart but as you can see from the photo, these are maybe 10' apart. Would I be able to healthily space them 30' apart? What would happen? Any arbor related advice would be greatly appreciated.

Del is correct. Southern Live Oak isn't going to make it that far north.

Chestnut oak might be a better choice.

They are specifically listed on other websites as liking the Tennessee climate. The common white oak is another related species with a similar growth habit.
