It's old and crusty. I gave it an air compressor bath and took pics.

The good:
-Fires right up.
-160+lbs compression.
-Piston looks good for the age.
-Oiler is cranking out oil.

The bad:
-Top cover is cracked.
-It's dirty as heII.
-Throttle interlock is not there.
-Non stock, self tapping bolts holding the recoil on.
-Kill switch is inop.
-Did not pull a 24" as I would've hoped but pulled a 20" decently - although that might be because of my garbage sharpening skills. (But doesn't pull like my 6800......just saying......)
-Might've been run by a logger smoking non filter camels for 20 years or by a weekend warrior, twin cities wannabe for that same timeframe. I don't know. Case paint seems to lean towards the latter. Not sure if that's better.

The ugly:
-The saw.
-The big ten's chances in D1 hockey next season.

My piston pics aren't great because my two year iPhone contract just expired so my outward facing camera bit the $hit right on schedule.

$250 pho to your door unless you're a billion miles away so stop living in those lame places.

Other pics provided upon request.

Happy to provide my cell on pm to chat about this saw.

GLWS!

Derp! That didn't take long on an easy to see screw up in my post. Disregard the 268 recoil it is in fact a 266. Some resourceful individual in this saws past must've replaced the original with whatever was lying around probably between blasting through 40 filterless camels in a day. Hard core style.

You see that! That beer is empty! Let’s get that fixed everyone.

Is it an xp or se. I’d like a few more pictures if you have any. Maybe one of the tag if possible. Thanks

I’m honestly not sure. There’s no xp or se badging and I have an se that has se on the badge.
Wasn’t there just a plain 266?
