whats the difference between a 357xp and a 357xp e-tech? i just ordered a 357xp e-tech for 350.00 just for the power head. is it just the muffler? i have a 357xp parts saw so i could always swap the muffler over.

The muffer is different and also the carb that got EPA adjusting screws lock on it.

The E-tech muffler is equipped with a catylitic converter, generally not well liked by most people here. All my saws are pre epa models. or I modified the mufflers on mine.

so basicly with a muffler and carb swap from a parts saw it's bye bye e-tech.....or can the carb stops be removed, so it's only a muffler swap ?

KF, donot worry about the ETECH stuff ,I will take care of that when the saw gets here
