just want a small tack that's easy to use but can't seem to find any that are non contact and no tape type- Ideas?

I use a DTI-Fast Tach, it works well been using it for years.
Prior to the fast tach I was using a Hardline tach/hour meter and had to wrap a wire around the spark plug wire for a reading.

I'vee been using the sawzilla solo tach for a few years now, very fast refresh and its no contact...I think their price has come down to under 40 bucks.

I have the dirt cheap amazon one that looks like the proline solo tach.
It works fine, you dont need to use the wire it comes with, just hold it close to the spark plug.
