ms362 ported muffler mod

I'm look at doing a muffler mod on my 362. Wondering is it worth it what I can expect for power Do's it hurt engine reliability where to buy a ported muffler I cut mostly on forest service land so needs to be legal with spark arrester any one have any suggestions thanks.
