muffler fix

I was modifying my muffler for the 660 when I accidently cut into this portion of the muffler. I will weld it when I go to the country, where the welder is located. In the mean time do you think it is OK to run the muffler like this for limited use? Would lead solder work for a quick temp fix?

I would run it as long as the hot gases are not blowing directly on plastic that could melt.
