new tree service advice..chipper?

im just in the beginning stages of starting a tree service. have been workin with a crew for some time and just now got my arborist certification and looking at equipment. goin to go with a 1 ton dump and a chipper for starts, but the chipper is where i am unsure. lookin for at least 9" if not 12". somewhat familiar with the bandits but have been looking at vermeer. there is also a bandit 90 9"for sale here, 400 hours for $9,000. is that a decent price?? any other advice for a greenhorn in the business is appreciated.

I would go for the 12" Bandit, but the 9" does a bang-up job, too.

If I could afford it though, I would go 12. And diesel.

Go with a Bandit 250xp with a winch , I run several of them with cummins engines with no problems at all. A diesel engine is a must ,they have the power you need for chipping.
