Homeowner with new acreage, just had oak wilt show up and take out 4 mature oaks (17”-25” BHD) in the last 3 months. It’s breaking my heart watching these trees go.
I have another 40-60 red oaks that I want to preventatively treat and do anything I can to try and save them. I can’t afford to hire a commercial operation for that volume, so I’m going to buy a system and begin treatment on my own.
I read Jennifer Juzwik’s paper on micro vs macro, but it’s from back in 2015, I wish there was a longer term validation.
Had an arborist come out and show me how to use an Arborjet FSeries micro system (I’m gravitating towards Rainbow Ecoscience’s Q-connect vs Arborjet).
Found a local arborist who is retiring and will sell me his macro system.
What’s everyone’s vote on which system I should get?
