You already know the answer to that one.

Some are not to terribly bad. I have a "free" one out there. It had fried it's brush holder. I repaired it, and it generates. Starts easily, but the engine is a little feeble compared to the output (3K on mine). Otherwise not terribly bad.
Funny part is that I have a 1.5K military that in someways will out perform it.
