  • I think the Freeman's will be
hard to beat in the Ohio championships
They are good all around lumberjacks.
They have some top notch gear.

TJ Bexten will be there with the Carbon fiber saw......sporting a new paint job on the bar.

I don't think so. I think (think)
that the Hawkins are also tough
in that state show. It use to be
A good show it was all together
Now the Ohio state championships
are held on Sunday morning.

The Hawkins clan ought to be tough, I think I counted 3-4 Helsel built 3120's between them. Thats who I used to get my cants made up from for my racing gtg's. Ricks :msp_thumbup: used to hook me up with the good stuff for racing in.

I think one of Rick's sons won the Ohio hotsaw part the year I went there with my 166.

Have not talked to anyone that is planning on going yet. Kinda weird, hope they pull in some new show go'ers and the weather holds out for them.

Was playing it by ear the last few weeks, but I have a tree job saturday morning, then 5 cords to deliver Saturday evening. Sunday is still a possibility....slim chance though. Know a few guys going Saturday.
