Some of my pine needles on three or four branches are all brown. Is my tree dying? What should I do about it?

If the whole branch is browning out check for breaks, borer holes at a point closest to the trunk where the branch is attached.
Normal conditions on pines are that they do lose some needles on the interior of branches. Depending on the type of pine the needles are retained for about two years then shed.
