Poulan Pro 455 bar?

I found a Poulan Pro 455 and would like to know if it will handle a 36" bar with .404 chain.I have never owned one of these saws before but looked in the Poulan parts manual and it states the saw can handle that size bar and chain. It seems to be a good saw, but a 36" bar with that size chain seems to be a bit much.

Acres site says the biggest bar supplied was 32" with 3/8 chain.

I wouldnt exceed that.

It's the size of the wood that'll give you issues, not the size of the bar.
