I was looking through the Petzl Professional catalog and see they have a CD ROM EPI Z 29-2-3 for walking you through checking your PPE. Anybody seen this? I know their Professional catalog is geared more towards construction and rescue but the rigging pics are great. This being a slow time how many of you are going through your stuff to see if it'll stand up to some more use once biz picks up in the spring? I know we used to tie a white rag around any piece of equipment that was damaged before it went back to the shop and it had to be checked and okayed before it went out again. Most of it ended up in the dumpster. I was the one guy who was in charge of checking the equipment and if it was in doubt it went out to the dumpster. You'd have to cut it, bend it or break it beyond repair or one of the guys would pick it up and try to use it again.
