rebuilt saw/carb settings

just rebuilt the carb on my STIHL 024AV saw.....the manual sex that the baseline/factory hi/lo needle settings are 1-turn out, each. ARE THESE BASELINE SETTINGS GOOD FOR AN OLD SAW, ALSO....????? haven't tried to spin the engine over, yet...

Yep, that's where you should start and, if the saw has no other issues, so should it.

started fine....had found that the small (what looks likes) pressed in screen at the bottom of the needle reservoir to be partially clogged. think that deal would have been causing my original NO START condition...??
