I have the large Regency woodstove. It takes much longer wood if I burn crossways (east west?). Of course that way there is the problem of wood falling against the glass.
Has anyone made or bought andirons that would work?
 
I can't see the andirons being useful....wouldn't they just get in the way when loading?Typically,you only see andirons in side and top-loaders.
 
I was thinking of something detachable. Pipe over a short stub? Be ugly unless it could be made fancy though.
That way you could set them up after loading the wood.
Got a 357 also. Good saw.
