In case you haven't heard, there is an SRT Climbing Workshop being held in Manchester, NH Saturday and Sunday August 25th and 26th (this coming weekend) from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
This two day training workshop is being offered to qualified local climbers wanting to explore the benefits of SRT climbing systems in a controlled training session. The workshop curriculum follows the outline of the soon-to-be published SRT Best Practices for Tree Climbers by TCIA
You get two days of hands on instruction on SRT techniques and best practices for the production tree climber. Complimentary continental breakfast and box lunch on Saturday. Attendees recieve a coupon for 30% discount on the total price for the SRT Best Practice for tree Climbers manual when published in September 2012.
Pre-registration is required. Register at TCIA Headquarters – phone registrations only. Call 1-800-733-2622
Price: $180 and includes one full day of instruction with at least one qualified SRT Instructor, and a second day of informal climbing. 6 ISA CEU's and 6 CTSP CEU's will be awarded.
Climbers must bring their own climbing gear and PPE: hardhat with chin strap, eye protection, sturdy work boots at a minimum. All gear used for life support will be subject to inspection
Participation limited to 12 individuals, first come, first served.
