Well, not exactly stealth, but quieter. That old briggs makes a lot of noise that has nothing to do with the exhaust.
I have been wanting to put a muffler on my splitter ever since I built it. A buddy of mine borrowed it and in return had a pipe fitter do it up with black iron and a tractor muffler I bought. I wasn't satisfied with that so a guy at work gave me the stock muffler off a kawasaki he had. Now this works. You can hear all the other noise that the engine is producing now but not the exhaust so much. Run it at half throttle and no hearing protection is needed.
