Sterilization of trees

We have 3 HUGE Bois d'arc trees (osage oranges). They drop large grapefruit sized fruit starting in early August. The fruit is so heavy that we can only put about 15 of them in a garbage bag or it breaks the bag. Our neighbors hate the fruit that falls in their yard and are constantly complaining to us about it. We love the shade from the trees but hate the fruit - can we sterilize them so they don't produce fruit?

Look for fruit eliminators, Floral (maybe Florel) is used for crabapples, cherry, etc.
